Alison Kentos has over 20 years of experience being a teacher, leader and advocate in the early childhood field. She is currently an early childhood teacher for Mendham Township Elementary School in Mendham, New Jersey. She has taught in a variety of settings for children ranging from infancy to school age. Alison is a board member of the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children and is an advocate for early childhood education. She has lobbied in Washington DC for high-quality preschool education. Alison has a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in birth through age 5 education from West Virginia University.
